Default Bye Bye Imports...Helloooooooo Corvette

From San Antonio, TX, I just wanna say hello to CF! I've always been into imports but the last few years, I've grown tired of them and switched over to a Corvette. I'm new to the forum and the Corvette scene. Not sure how everything works here yet but it doesn't seem too hard to figure out. I'm interested in meeting fellow Corvette enthusiasts in the San Antonio area.
As my first Corvette, I decided to get a 2011 base convertible. Mods include: A&A supercharger, Comp cams, American Racing headers, Flowmasters (about to switch to Corsa or Borla, any suggestions?), and many more. I'll post pics up as soon as I get more familar with the forum.

Welcome and congrats. Sounds like a nice C6 with some good power mods.

I have Corsa Sports on mine and like them. Little more of a European sound but no droan at all.
I suggest going to a show or club meeting and listening to the various systems. Intake and headers will change the sound.

Welcome to the Corvette world. I just added Corsa sports to my 2012 Callaway and so glad I went with them. They sound great and love the car even more now. I have had Corsas on four different Corvettes now. They have a more European tuned sound, but their big selling point is no drone.
My buddy has them on his Z06 with cam and headers, it sounds amazing. I would highly recommend Corsa exhaust for your combo.

Congrats dude! Hell of a first C6! Best of luck with it and post some pics soon! Welcome to the forums. You will learn so much about these cars here.

I have no first hand experience with either of those exhaust setups, but I hear nothing but good things about Corsa's system. I would go with that.

Nice, post some pics of the new ride. What was your previous car?

Welcome to the forum and Corvettes. When you post, the little square box will let you post a pic. Just clik on it and follow the prompts. Easiest way I know.

What import did you come from? How does the Corvette compare? There is also a regional forum. You might find some folks there from SA.

Default Welcome to the CF

I'll be the first to recommend Borla. I have the S Type II on my 2013 and love it. No drone and a very nice burble on deceleration. Otherwise quiet unless you step on the GO pedal. Lots of fun, enjoy your Vette, it is a beautiful beast.

Congratulations, I'm new to this forum too. I had just traded my 370z for a 2007 callaway. Trust me you'll love the corvette coming from a former import owner.

CVongrats, and welcome to the C6 forum. You will love this place. It's got tons of action, new threads all the time, and very helpful members for any issue that may pop up from time to time.

We need pics ASAP!

Welcome! I went from import to a Vette' as well. The torque down low is a whole new world! Thank goodness for big ole' American pushrod V-8's!

2014 WRX Premium (Roughly 340WHP/320FTLBS) - Almost every bolt on imaginable. Stock turbo.

2010 Corvette Grand Sport (Roughly 430WHP/410FTLBS) Kooks 1 7/8 headers, catted x-pipe, and Borla Exhaust on a 93OCT tune.

Beautiful GS! I never get sick of looking at JSB. No bias of course.

Welcome to the forum from another San Antonian. I replied to your post in the Southwest section.
