Default I Just Bought My Third C7!

Picked up a '16 3LT Z51 which has every single option! Sticker was an unbelievable $96,000 CAD.

I'm having two issues, however:

1) The driver's door takes some effort to close. Is this normal?

2) The driver side temperature **** is hard to rotate. I mentioned it to my service advisor and they will take a look. Anyone else experience the same issue?

On (1), I assume you are referring to the seals. I think it is normal to take some effort to close the doors, as the seals are tight. My temp **** is not hard to rotate.

I would think you could answer this question better than most.

I have to ask....why 3? I don't experience the issues you've mentioned. '16 Z51.

Third one! You probably won't generate a ton of excitement here, kind of like when a dude gets married for the third time. I hope this one is the charm!
My door takes a little slam to close tight. Dial turns easily.

Three C7's in four years of production & you have questions? Get rid of it and get another one.

Is $96k a good price for a 3LT? I bought a brand new Z51 2LT for substantially less. Not judging, just curious.

$96K for a 3LT sounds outrageous to me, without knowing anything else about it. I bought a new 3LT this year or $72K. I wonder how you could get it up so high? Did you mean 3LZ perhaps?

Oh. Thanks Woodson. I didn't read where he was from and he didn't specify CAD

You might try this to add a little leverage:

Funny that a guy that has owned 3 samples of this car is asking what is normal and not normal on the third one!!

Ran into a guy at a hardware store yesterday, that was driving a Black Rose ZO6 Coupe, Light gray interior, A8. He also owns a Black C7 I believe he'll be selling.
He just ordered a ZR1 (#4 on the rotation at his Chevy dealer.)
When the ME, (mid-engine) is offered, he'll be buying one too.
He told me he's owned 17 Corvettes. Buys a new one every year or so, then sells the last one.

I haven't had either of those issues. I have a feeling you'll get them worked out.

How am I a troll? I bought a 3LT Z51 in late 2013, traded that in for an R8, picked up another '14 2LT Z51 which I drove for 6 months and sold, and now I'm back in a '16 3LT Z51. I did not lose a single penny on my second one, and I will not on my current one either. And yes, sticker was $96k CAD, but I paid $62k. They also gave me $34,500 for my trade in which I originally purchased for $29,000. Not bad!

Kind of like the third time around?

Could not resist.
