My 2004 convertible for a Ferrari Daytona replica
Would like to discuss possible trade of my 2004 Millennium Yellow / Oak interior convertible 21K miles and all options.
I am looking for a nice Ferrari Daytona replica (the Miami Vice car) that is based on a C3 Corvette.
My 04 convertible needs nothing, and I am looking for a Daytona replica that also needs nothing.
Please email me at emccomas57@gmail.com if you know of a Ferrari Daytona replica for sale / trade / etc. Thanks.

PS: As per forum rules, I am putting a value on my car. I value my 2004 Corvette convertible at $24,000.

Nice Corvette.. have you posted this in the C3 section? never seen one of the cars your looking for but i bet its cool looking. Hope someone shows us a pic of the wanted Corvette conversion.
Also what is the sale price of your Corvette.. i think the mods will be asking for a For Sale price.

Yes, even though you are not interested in selling the car, just trading it, the rules do require an value be shown for your car. If you will add what you feel your car is worth to your original post, I will leave this thread open. Please do so by 10:30 am on 10/17/17 or I'll remove the thread. Thanks.

Just out of curiosity, a month ago I searched for the Daytona Replicas. As you already know there is that one manufacturer (McBurnie) that apparently are the ones that built the M.V car. ANyway, at the time my search came up with two. there was one in dark green that actually looked (on paper) pretty decent. Are they really built well?

The only way to tell for sure is to look the car over carefully. Check panel fit, quality of materials used for interior, etc.
One other indicator is the quality of the material used for the top.

Currently on Ebay...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Replica...BZzuUC&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-Replica...RZCQ1k&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1977-Ferrari...RZ2uQG&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-Ferrari...FY1Ztz&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-Daytona...FZ5QoV&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-Chevrol...BZvxJC&vxp=mtr
Note the major differences in these kits....
1. Some have the Ferrari inspired interior, some still have the C3 Corvette interior.
2. Some have the plexiglass covered headlights, some have the pop up headlights
If I recall correctly, the plexiglass covered version is the european spec version, the pop up headlights is the US spec version.
Early Daytonas featured fixed headlights behind an acrylic glass cover. A new U.S. safety regulation banning headlights behind covers resulted in retractable pop-up twin headlights in 1971.
I want Ferrari interior, and pop up headlights. I can compromise on the headlights, but not the interior.
