Delphi (AF10043 for my '02) ~$80. You didn't mention what year your car is. Some of the earlier models have a different connector.
I tried a cheap one and it split in half at the seem. It worked otherwise.

Where did you purchase it from?

I think I got mine from Amazon. I have seen better deals on eBay (make sure it is Delphy brand and not a generic). It fits your car. The Z06 didn't have the screen. You can cut the screen off if you want. There were a lot of threads where engineers and techs argued over weather there was any benefit to having the screen or not. Personally I kept it as a safety net and for reducing turbulence (if that is a real thing).
You shouldn't have any problems with this part number.

I double checked. The one I mentioned will work fine. The only difference is the screen.
Apparently it cost $100 extra to get one without a screen. I'm using it on a LS6 engine and it works fine.

Thanks buddy for all your help. 👏. Is yours a Z?
I'll keep the screen as well I think. Found the Delphi one for $75 on Ebay.
I wonder if my 2004 Z06 needs less interference for more cfm/sqft of air in our application, hence no screen originally. Maybe it is better without. Not that we'd probably notice through our butt dynos. 🙄

Mine is a coupe with a Z engine and C6Z suspension. It has all the Z options but with A4 trans, targa top and hatch. I built it.
You can search about the screen thing but that argument seems like it never came to a head. Some say it is restrictive and others say it reduces turbulence.

No! If there is a change in flow it would be almost undetectable. The PCM can adapt a lot more than any change that screen could possibly make.
If you are deeply concerned you could just remove the screen. The filament on the MAF is fragile so I would be cautious if you do this.

I just cleaned my current Screenless one. If code reappears I'll contact you. 😉

If you have an Oreilly's parts store around then part# 74-8412 has no screen and part# 74-8411 has the screen it's a1cardone brand I replaced mine couple years ago and it's still working good

Question is, can you trust remanufactured?
And what's "Plus core:$50" mean?

I'm running it on my heads, cam car with no issue it shouldn't be a problem
the core charge is for your old one, they want it too rebuild, if you don't give them your old one it will cost you 50 more dollars

So you're running without screen I gather ?
