Even when just sitting still if I move the wheel back and forth I hear and feel a popping in the wheel itself, any ideas?

Sounds like you have summer tires, the temps are cool and the tires are “scrubbing “. Common with wide summer tires. Scared me first time it happened to me.

Thanks it isn’t that as I am familiar with that .
this happens I even if I just move the wheel back and forth a 1/4” I will try and get a video up

Donno, but I just replaced the clock spring and I had a small "pop" when I turned the wheel back and forth. I fixed it by reinstalling the spring clip that holds the clock spring again making sure (this time) that all of it was in the recess. Probably not your problem, but thought I'd mention it.
