hello all
Hello all, first time Corvette owner, but not new to them. I recently bought a 2004 commemorative edition convertible, 10/13/2017 to be exact. it had 30,408 miles on it when i picked it up. absolutely love the car!
now, for a little background, I work for a Chevy dealer, and as luck would have it, I am the Corvette tech there. I have been wrenching for GM for about 30 years now, and during that time I think i have worked on every generation Vette for one thing or another.
I think this car found me, one of our branch stores took it in on trade, and as fate would have it, it was in my stores parking lot for about 15 minutes, I happened to see it, and inquire about it, a week later, it was in my garage.
I seem to have registered here in 2008 with a silly question about a 50th anniversary tool box I had at the time, I now wish I had kept that tool box, but, time marches on.
anyway, hope I can contribute to the forum, I am sure I will learn alot from you folks.
Thanks for reading,
Tom

thanks everyone for the welcome. we have caught a great stretch of weather here in central NY, haven't driven my truck since I got the Corvette, lol. looks like most of this week is going to be nice as well. was hoping I'd get a week out of the car before winter nap time, but I got lucky.......
thanks again everyone, see ya in the C5 section........
