Default Tiger Shark Body Kit

Hi,

I have an issue with Double D Mods Company and I need your help please.

On Saturday, July 29, 2017 I sent an email to Double D Mods inquiring about the TS body kit for my C5 CORVETTE and I received an email from Dennis in the same day asking me to provide him my address and the company name that will ship this kit to Dubai in order to provide the Paypal invoice. He informed me that the TS kit will take 14 days from the day of the payment. (As agreed)

He provided the total price for this kit and informed me that someone hacked his paypal account and sent me Square invoice!!! I asked for paypal invoice because it's more secure and you can refund your money if the seller did not commit to deliver the requirements. He convinced me that Square invoice more secure than Paypal and I did the payment $2094.98.

I received the invoice from him on Fri, Aug 4, 2017 and I was following up to know the latest update. After 21 days from the payment date, I sent him a reminder to know what happened to my order and he replied that it's still not finished!!!!!.

After 25 days I requested to send my order with a tracker number in order to track the shipment. I received an email from him when i was out of the country on Sep 6, 2017 (After 37 days from the day of the payment) informing me YRC Frieght was company 83569705 Was BOL number!! I didn't understand him if this is my order or not? Therefore, I requested to postpone the order if it is ready to be shipped until I come back from my annual leave (Out of the country). On the other hand, I informed him if I have to pay extra fees for this postpone or not?

When I got back home, I sent him an email reminding him to send me the order but unfortunately this guy still delaying, excuses and providing personal stories?!!! It's not my business!

After this delay i requested to send me my refund, but he doesn't want!!! I accepted to deduct $300 for the postpone but i have no idea why he doesn't want to give me my money!?!? Who's here can deal with this kind of people??

He is no longer a vendor on the forums here. Everything from him has slowed down dramatically recently. But if you look in the vendor feedback forum you will see this has happened a lot.

WTF!? This is nuts. He is a well known vendor. I'm so sick of hearing about people getting ripped off with online purchases.

From all the comments about this vendor I would not be surprised if he goes belly up and files bankruptcy. His customers would then be SOL. He might be trying to get it together, but it sure doesn't seem like it.

I have no idea what he is doing atm. I have seen him on the F/B side and yes he did expand, maybe to fast... Kinda reminds me of Pfadt...

I've already went to the bank last week for dispute transaction and I informed him about that. On the other hand, I asked him to think if he will refund the money and deduct $500 instead of $300 to close this issue without a headache.
I will see what will happen and will update you guys.

Hi Robert,

After several correspondences between both of us, I understood that he is facing some personal issues and he can't make the refund at the moment. I gave him a chance for two months and we will see what will happen in December 2017.

What I learned now from this scenario, I have to make sure that the vendor is going to accept the Paypal payment, trusted vendor in corvette forum and very high reputation.

Robert, I think you remember that vendor who was building the HP Performance Turbo Kit (I rated this kit as one of the best 10 Turbo Kits). Where are they now? But do you have any idea what was the turbo they were using in this kit?!
