Should I get a 2018 or 2019?
I was all prepared to order a 2018 January of next year until I heard cut off for 2018's is 11/16 and production on 2019's starts in December 2017! What car manufacturer starts selling a 2019 model in 2017? GM, evidently. Now I'm unsure whether to order an '18 right away or wait for a month or two and get a '19. There's no real difference between them. If I get an '18 it'll be a "year old" model wise as soon as I take delivery. On the other hand a '19 will certainly cost more, anywhere from $500 to ???? Any suggestions?

Clearly, there will be some changes however minor in the 2019 model. How significant the changes are have yet to be announced and then only you can decide how important they are for you personally. Therefore if any changes are important to know for you, why not wait until next month when the order guide for the 2019 will be officially announced and decide then. If your priority is not to wait 3 months, then order a 2018 now and get you car sooner to enjoy. Should cost be a consideration, then you are likely to get a better deal on a 2018 model then a 2019. The decision on which, when and what to purchase is entirely personal based on your own personal circumstances, and priorities of equipment and time. These are personal choices which only you can make for yourself, not anyone else who's preferences, priorities or circumstances may be different then yours. So you decide for yourself based on your own desires not someone else's. Follow these guidelines and you will not go wrong. Besides whatever you decide you will have a great car. Good luck.

Got the coin? Want the latest and greatest? Get a 2019 after you hear in November what's different..
If the order guide shows paint colors ..then pick up a 2018 model...
Of if you are only planning on keeping the new corvette for a few years..then get the 2019...
I imagine discounts on 2017 leftovers must be pretty I,pressive as well.
Always a great sports car...doesn't matter which year...
If it were me I'd wait to hear what new items are available for 2019 models in November of 2017 and then decide..
Probably paint colors....lol

I you're only going to keep it for 1 - 3 years, get the 2019. If you plan on keeping it for more than 5 years, it won't matter much on resale or trade.
