Default Headlight issue

my drivers side light won’t pop up by itself right now. I replaced the gear a month or two ago and all had been well. Now it’s acting all weird.

The manual part spins but nothing happens like there is no gear in there and the lights is all floppy. I can play with it and after a while of turning the manual **** it catches and goes up.

Any ideas what’s going on?

As I have thought about it. That’s what must have happened. Going to get it taken apart again as soon as I have some spare time and pick up some epoxy

Yup the epoxy came undone. Off to Lowe’s to get some epoxy to put it back together

I’m just talking to myself now. But I got it all out back together and everything works again.

Did you install the T-Brace? As mentioned above, there is a steel side brace to reinforce the motors. If this brace is not used, the glue joint will probably fail again.

It can be separately bought. Take a look a this for more details.

hopefully the other side which I didn’t use it there either doesn’t come apart bc I don’t think I have another one in the garage

If you can't find the other one, it can be separately bought as I mentioned above
