67 435 upper generator bracket.
I went to a NCRS show yesterday saw two 67 435 coupes side by side. One was an original owner car (still had the original PA state inspection decal on the windshield) with the upper bracket bolted to the head. The other one had it bolted to the boss on the front of the intake manifold. The original owner car's manifold had the same boss, but unused. Was there a vin breakpoint to represent the different brackets? One correct, one not? Neither were power steering cars or a.i.r. cars.

Blue Bell, allow me to quote from the '67 TIM&JG:
"Two brackets are used for this assembly: a lower cast iron bracket bolts to the left side cylinder head. The pivot boss of the alternator bolts to this bracket. The upper bracket is secured to the intake manifold with a hex-head bolt, cadmium or zinc-plated. It curves over the alternator and is slotted allowing adjustment of the alternator belt. Both brackets are painted semi-gloss black. Head marks typically include WB, NAT and RBW."
Hope this helps to answer your question.

The device actually creates an alternating voltage, that is then passed thru a full-wave bridge rectifier, thus providing a D.C. voltage.
