I would say yes. Not bad for a driver. Just needs a little paint work.

I'd be concerned about rust on a car from NJ.

If the frame isn't all crusty and rusty then you can fix all the other stuff it's gonna need.

I'd say that any running, driving mid year for less than $40,000 these days, is a deal.

Really?

Just because a car is in NJ, doesn't mean that the car is rusty, or for that matter, is originally from NJ. There are plenty of cars that have spent their whole lives in NJ, that aren't rusty. Also, there are plenty of old Corvettes, that after 53 years, have traveled through many states and owners.

If it really sold for $32,500, I'd call that a smokin' deal (absent some huge problem like a rusted out frame or birdcage).

And I agree that rust is an issue to verify on any old car located anywhere--cars move. My car's in California now, but who knows where it spent most of its life?

I posted this when it was on CL for 32k and was sold right away. The car looks a lot better in the ebay pics and sat for a while in a garage. Its in the opinion
section cars for sale. I dont think it was a good deal.
