Steering column rubbing
When I have the clutch pedal in, even partway, I can feel some rubbing thru the pedal when turning the steering wheel. Not thru the whole rotation of the wheel, but certain parts. Ideas?

Interesting. I put down 606 RWHP and 558 RWTQ on an NA motor with the Pfadt 1 7/8ths headers. Either I'm leaving a lot of power on the table per all the detractors here or my set up is working relatively well with these headers.
Mine do rub though in the same spot on the steering column just not as badly but I plan to clearance the header the same way described in this thread.
Just realized this is the wrong section for my application. Disregard please.

Back in the day, the 60's and 70's, this problem was common and the solution was a hammer and dinging the header until you got the clearance necessary.
Forget all the "experts" here who's solution is to drop $2K to replace something you already have.
