Default 1972 Seats In Great Condition - Full Package

SOLD, thank you Paul.

This is the real deal and a little back story may be in order. I purchased these seats from another forum member early this year. I paid $750 for them without seat tracks or seat backs at the time but I intended to restore them for my 1972 Road Race Replica. I bought seat tracks and restored them. I bought seat mounting screws to mount the tracks to the seats. I bought seat backs and dyed them black to match. I bought button surrounds and seat belt slot brackets for them as well as mounting screws for these parts.

I changed my plans about two months ago and now plan to use different seats in the racer (my nickname for the 72) so I want to make these available to a forum member that can use them.

These are the seats and from this distance they look perfect, but they are not perfect.

This is a hole in one of the seats made by I don't know what. It is small but I zoomed in so you could see it.

Here is a second flaw, a tear at the seam. Again, very tough to see but I am a believer in full disclosure.

This is a third flaw, again at the seam, again to assure full disclosure for this sale.

Here are the seat backs in place and painted, I used a dye that was too glossy for my liking and intended to do them again, never got around to it.

These two pictures show the seat back seat belt brackets I bought for them. The seat belt slot brackets are not painted yet. Both seats have new brackets.

Here is a picture of the underside of the seats. Foam is in good condition, seat tracks are shown here along with all the bolts, etc. I did buy seat track to seat floor bolts as well and they will be included.

And that is what I have available for your consideration. One full set of seats with all the necessary goodies to complete them. You put in a little sweat equity and you can have an very nice pair of seats for your project or car.

I have about $750 invested in these minus the tracks and parts but I want them to go to a good home so I am offering this original pair, as described and seen above, for $500 or best offer. Yes I am willing to ship these, I have shipped a pair in the past. Just be aware that shipping a pair of seats from my location in PA to Alabama cost me about $160.00. Maybe with the great price you are willing to pay shipping as well, completely up to you. Packaging materials will cost me about $40.00 so I will commit to sell and ship these in the contiguous 48 for $850.00.

I know it is a big ticket item and that buyers won't be flocking to buy these but I wanted to offer them here first before heading to eBay with them.

Let me summarize pricing here:
$700 for everything minus seat tracks shipped.
$500 for everything minus seat tracks picked up.

I appreciate you looking and hope someone out here may be able to use them.

Please let me know if you have any questions I can help to answer.

Best regards,

David Howard

Make me an offer on the seats. It is the Holiday Season and you just never know, I might accept it.

David, Do you know if these would be the same as my 71 comfort weave seats?

Thanks Paul

These are 71 comfort weave seats. I was planning to use them on my 72 racer. I got the title wrong. Sorry.
