Yay or Nay to the Torch Red side mirrors
One thing I’ve learned is that if you ask forum members for their opinions, they will be brutally honest which I can appreciate because there isn’t one size that fits all.
That said, I like to tinker and think outside the box and have an artistic creative mind and straight no chaser doesn’t fit me. I dare to be different but without going overboard.
So I found this nice $5.99 Diecast C7.R on an end cap in a supermarket and I have been fascinated by the Torch Red Side Mirrors against the Arctic White and I love the look. Of course my C7.Z51 is not a C7.R and I get that and I am not trying to be one but I love the red mirrors.
I’m am asking your thoughts and opinions appreciate all feedback.
Is it a Yay or Nay?

It does sorta work with a white exterior and red seats and red calipers. Carbon flash mirrors would look even better. Your car, whatever makes you happy.

Usually my style is very muted, but these work on your car. Can you photoshop to see how your white splitter/rocker stripes would look in red, along with the mirrors?

Leaning Yes...
No. 1, there were no Arctic White C7.R's so your model has no credibility. C7.R's were only Yellow or Black. Majority, Yellow.
No. 2, whatever your decision, never try to pass your car off as a C7.R. I've found three examples, in recent months, of people faking a C7.R.
Seriously, and in answer to the intent of your question, I'm kind of on the fence with the red mirrors, but if you want a race look, I'm leaning your way. I would want more red accents, somewhere, to pickup/blend with the red mirrors, but you may be on to something.
Okay, saw the additional photos. You have so much black/white going on, just red mirrors and interior don't quite fit...
Keep thinking outside the box!

A big nay! All my attention is drawn to the mirrors. Not good.

Not to mention, repainting the mirrors is going to be a real suck of time and/or money that could be better spent on something more fun. I'm not necessarily against cosmetic mods, but this one isn't ringing any bells for me.

A nay from me. I don't even like it when cars come with carbon flash side mirrors, I prefer them to be body color.

I can appreciate your point for sure but although red might not be the way to go, I don't care for body color mirrors on the C7 but prefer the black contrast on the mirrors but I think it also depends on the color of the car but they all look nice just personal preference as individuals. That's the beauty is everyone has different taste and but whatever anyone does its there's to enjoy! I appreciate the feedback!

I Agree that more red accent would bring it together but when I played around with adding red pinstripe around the hood as a mock up, it became to busy and a distraction but my gut was telling me that the mirrors couldn't stand alone and become a distraction and you guys confirmed my thoughts as I suspected you would!
I thought about changing the black hood stinger to red but I was uneasy about that to! I always tend to think out the box but I actually love my car as is but find myself wanting to tinker, Outside of expensive wide body conversion or supercharging I've done most mods that I can think of that I would want! LOL!
Appreciate the Feedback!
