Holiday Pay It Forward 2017
With no offense to anyone that celebrates or does not celebrate the Christmas Holiday we all have to agree that the spirit of the Holiday Season is quickly approaching, and I would like to kick this year off with a warm and welcomed beginning to the Pay It Forward Holiday Thread here on the Corvette Forum.
First a few rules to guide us all this year. If you are giving away items you are committing to select a recipient, pack and mail the gift at no charge to the recipient. It is completely up to the OP which requester they select to receive the posted gift. If the recipient offers to pay for shipping that is between those two members. No member will claim a gift until they have first posted a gift. Please do not ask for a gift if you have not posted a gift.
To be fair and honest to everyone you should only ask for one gift if you are only posting one gift. Unless you are gifting more than one item please don't request multiple items here. Let as many people as possible share in the activity and the fun. Gifts do not have to be of equal value, but please give generously.
I will kick it off this year by offering five gifts free of charge to someone that can use them.
So here we go.
Item #1 – Halo lights have been claimed by CPTCroaker.
Item #2 – Halo lights have all been claimed by Mobird.
Item #3 – LED headlamps have been claimed Mobird.
Item #4 – This is a set of four Halogen headlamps. Halogen headlamps have been claimed by Rescue Rogers.
Attachment 48226030
Item #5 – This is a reconditioned head lamp motor used on vacuum to electric motor conversions on headlights for C-3’s. Claimed by oldgto.
Thank you for participating and Happy Holiday to you all.
Now be nice to one another and have fun.

While we are moving quickly to the end of the year I wanted to thank everyone for their participation in the Pay It Forward thread for 2017. We had good participation and only a few missteps along the way with requests but all in all I am happy with the effort of so many to help out your fellow corvette family.
Nothing says you cannot continue with the thread and gifts you have posted here in to 2018 but I will most likely ask the Forum Moderators to shut this one down after the first of the year.
As we welcome 2018 I encourage each of us to continue to help one another here on the forum with information; parts; services; assistance when you can do so.
A strong community of active participants will assure a long and healthy future for the C-3 Corvettes we all own and love.
Thank you for a fantastic year and I look forward to 2018.
Happy New Year (a little early).
David

Burning Brakes
I've got a wiper bezel for a 73' to ? non AC car. I can't use it, but I did refinish it and it looks great. I'd love for it to find a new home. It's also posted in the 'for sale' section but I'll mark the cost with a link to this thread. I'll have a few more things hopefully. I had a lot of fun doing this last year!
The wiper bezel has been claimed and shipped!

I have a fuse block, radio heat sink(?), and several misc. connectors and bulb sockets from a 71 dash harness.... to start with.

Trim rings and center caps claimed now by General Ike. Thank you.
I found this set of four driver quality trim rings and center caps. They show signs of wear but if you can use them they are available.
Trim rings are four clip style.
Thank you for looking.

My gifts are to large to ship. So this is for local pick-up. Zip code 07832
Used luggage racks I'd call them wall art as they are not complete. They are rusty and have chrome peeling
Next was given to me by a forum member. So please don't take them just to resell them. That would be uncool.
In any event I have a pair of NEW mufflers for what I believe to be for a early C3 low HP Small Block car.

Rotor run out tool
Brand new test indicator to check run out on rotors and bell housing comes with a mag base. Its not a premium brand but will do the job.
