Take that part number to an Oreillys auto and they should be able to order you one. The gates rep was here in one of the threads he said they may take awhile to get though.

Thanks everyone for all the help. I contacted gates, and they helped out as well. Anyone ever wanting a gates belt can special order at oriellys or Napa. Motion industries can also get them. I ordered from Oriellys just because it was closest.

I ran this rpm belt for almost 200 miles and it broke.car was down over winter and first of spring changing a few things. This was why the belt only saw 200 miles in this amount of time. Will try to post a pic...

I’ve had my share of problems with them too. Completely shredded one and ripped a rib off the other (anyone need a 98” 5-rib belt?). I concluded that it was a faulty/misaligned spring tensioner than caused this though.
But these RPM belts have no give. They stretch waay less than a regular Gates belt (I have some under hood video footage), so I’m thinking they are much more unforgiving if there’s misalignment.
BTW: Rockauto, which is a forum vendor, has the RPM belts in stock for far cheaper than O’Reillys. Last time I checked, O'Reillys wanted ~$125 for the one I needed and I got it for ~$52.00 from Rockauto.
I’m giving them one last try, with a new tensioner. If this doesn’t work now, that will most likely be the last RPM belt I buy.

Hmmn, interested to see what caused it to break. Are you using a spring or manual tensioner?

I have one of the aramid cords from my first shredded belt hanging in my garage with a standing $100 belt to anyone that can break it with their bare hands. So far all it has produced is a bunch of cut hands. One of those belts would be strong enough to tow a car with, I believe.

One thing that is rarely discussed is BOVs. How many are you running? On any of the big power setups, you need enough bypass to let all the air out, or you can snap belts, break belts and have all sorts of issues just like this. If you rev and let off, the air back ups in the blower, blower bearings get beat, and the jerking on the wheel/pulley can snap the belt.

That certainly makes sense Unreal. It would have to be something violent like that to break one of those belts, IMV.

Not even close, and you probably need to add at least one more.
Limit of a single one is around 800.
