Almost 20% off a GSCE Vert....
Figured they would be dealing on this one at some point. If anyone is looking for a GS 3LT Convertible, Collector Edition, they sent one up to Wisconsin of all places. It's been there for just over a year at this point, I think they are motivated, hard to sell a vert up there I imagine and winter is coming!
$96,770 MSRP. Z07 package, comp seats, fully rendered car cover and some other small LPO's. They are currently asking $78,197.

Yeah, I'm with WelderGuy. That interior is too much.
And it's a 2017 when 2018s are out and 2019s will be here soon. That's a nice discount, but not nice enough.
For the one person that just has to have that color combination and odd combination of options, it's the perfect car. But only for that one guy (or gal). The rest of us will pass.

The blue trim in the interior would make it a no go for me.

Not a bad discount, but they would have to do better to sell the car quickly.

Totally agree....had many things working against it. Including being a vert in that state and a color combo that doesn't attract the masses. Not sure why that dealership ordered it in that way, it was destined to sit there for a while.

Point being though, for the person that the color combo does attract, that is looking for a vert, if this is the model you wanted there's an opportunity to be had here. The discounted price they are advertising is your negotiation starting point, not a bad place to start....

Call him up and offer $60,000.00. You never know...

3LT Kalahari is a close 2nd to Tension Blue! Not sure why they didn't include the passenger airbag in blue as well but I don't sit on that side. Two tone seats help make the blue an accent color.

The dealership I picked my car up had one. Loved that appearance, but GS CE with Z07 was well outside of my price range.
I'll just have to settle with my CRY M7 Z51 Magride 2LT, with the plain black interior lol
Not as fancy looking, but it works for me.

Kinda get tired of the bashing that goes on here at times over what some like and dislike. It is a bit childish and silly... It is a beautiful car and a great price! Color and option package combos are subjective- That's why options are offered!
I lusted after a Z07 equipped GS a little too long and it sold. In the end, the Cosmos aligned for me to instead bring home a Z06 (vs a GS) minus the Z07 package and it is a perfect fit for me. Benefits in some areas I prefer and no compromises, again for me. The cosmos intervened on my behalf and I wound up with the perfect car for "me" and couldn't be happier! SWMBO was less than impressed but what I got is head and shoulders above what I was looking at initially. Again, all about what an individual wants!!
If it's what someone WANTS, then it is a great deal and grab it! If it's not walk away, comes down to a gut call...
BTW, the blue/gray combo is not what I would choose BUT it is truly stunning!!! I really like it and is beautiful just not my cup 'o tea. Not a slight in any way and that's what is so great about our obsession/distraction... We can appreciate a beautiful combo that may not be our own choice but stunning regardless!
Even with the ugly black wheels instead of some classy chrome wheels, it's still a beautiful GS...

I like it but wouldn't buy it. The discount is good but it's really about the same as 15% off with additional $3,000 loyalty which is available many places. Price $79,450. That car would be hard to find though but an expensive one. They'll sell it but probably in Cali.
I found 15% (which comes into play above the sales tax line) plus $3000 loyalty plus GM limited spiff $2500 plus $750 dealership Black Friday spiff. That totaled 24%.

Blue-bashers aside, for better or worse, the color combo on the GSCE couldn't have been any more "me" if GM had tried. (Exhibit "A"...below is my garage paint scheme, painted some 15 years before the CE came into existence. )
I was in the same boat as a few of the posters in this thread have mentioned. I had already decided I wanted a "different" interior in my next vehicle, after years with black interiors or the occasional two-tone with gray. That was even before the CE was debuted. The reactions I get from friends and family, and even random commenters I meet when out with the car, all seem to light up like a christmas tree when they see the interior!
I get that its not for everyone, but it's still cool as hell for some of us.
