The Earth is in the process of reclaiming the materials this thing is made of. Not sure actually paying for this is the right idea. I have some extra Harbor Freight coupons I'd give for it ......

I`d do it for $100.
He`d pay ME $100, and I`d get it off his lot.

What are the chances that's an LT-1 engine? Could you get it with A/C?

Not in 1970. LT-1 with factory air was 72 only.

I wouldn't take this car if he gave it to me and delivered it for free. It may be worth something to somebody for the rear clip, but something more like $250.

Maybe I misunderstood the ad? I thought the seller was offering $5000 for someone to take it.

The average cost of a house in that part of the state is about 300K. It only makes sense that his car is also worth more.

It looks like the window frame is gone, most likely the rest of the birdcage.

So this is a 1970 and it has been sitting in the dirt since 1975? I had a great life in the 70's but I never lost my car for 40+ years.

Although I did lose my car overnight after bar hopping one night. Left it parked at some gas pumps in a closed gas station while I rode with friends. Cops called the next morning asking if I was missing anything.... Ahh yes, the 70's!!!!!

We should start a 70's stories thread.... "there's nothing like a barroom romance"...

How in the hell do you buy a beautiful green 70 vette and then leave it in the dirt after just 5 years?
