Default My ‘58 & ‘66 Heading to Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale

The ‘66 Convertible is lot# 486 selling on Wednesday night on Discovery

The ‘58 Twin Turbo is Lot#1359 selling prime time Saturday night, they selected it for the Salon Collection selling right between the two RMD Garage cars.

Just wanted to share, pretty excited to get the ‘58 in the Salon Collection.

The ‘66 Convertible....

The ‘58 Twin Turbo...

Wow, those are beautiful cars! You’ll need a brinks truck when those sell.

Good luck. I'll be watching. I think this is a good year to take a restomod there. Economy good and not a lot of C1 C2 Restomods there like 2 years ago. I'll go out on a limb and say 58 does $275-300

Thanks! I hope your right, had not planned on selling the ‘58, but the ‘57 didn’t get finished and really didn’t need two.

I’ll post pics of the luggage, we had custom luggage built to fit the trunk and upholstered to match the interior with red leather and a couple leather straps to hold everything in place.

Your right I expect the blue ‘63 to be $300k, the ‘64 rests of sold for $300k last year, but it was an amazing car if the build quiality of the ‘63 is as nice it should hit that.

The ‘66 sells on the 17th & the ‘58 sells on the 20th. I couldn’t but I have a ‘57 Restmod with a lot of the same custom touches with a Gen V LT1 with 8 speed auto with paddle shifters to take its place. Not a big concession, both are beautiful cars, but each has it’s own personality.

You don't happen to have the missing trunk irons?

I love your dedication to saving the original car styling. Great cars. It's a great show I have visited many times since the 70's.

No, they were missing and with the rear bumper modifications we felt it was cleaner without them.
