I have a 2015 Z06 Z07 for sale. Car has 14,xxx miles and is a manual 7spd. Car is black factory and was painted chrome red. I was going to take the chrome paint off and leave the factory black that is underneath untouched. I have thought about selling as well. Asking wholesale MMR for the car. Newer tires, brand new clutch, new rear shocks, and has the glass roof. $62,500.

A little confused.... how would you take off paint? Is this some kind of peel off rubber paint?

The Chrome painting process is different than any other paint. The factory paint underneath does not have to be scuffed for the chrome to stick and the chrome paint will peel off. The paint is sprayed on top of the chrome so the original paint is fine and you can remove the chrome paint.

Yes, it is a 3LZ Z07. The spoiler front and back was removed. The sides are still on.

So since you started peeling the red paint, I assume it will be back to the original black now? What about the flat black hood and decklid? Is that a wrap? Do you still have the original spoilers?

Yes, the top half of the car is wrapped. Do not have the original spoilers.

Have not touched the vehicle in a few weeks. Offering vehicle as is. If I remove everything the price will go up. Also wholesale is now over 64k for this car.

its tough buying a car for over $60k without knowing what the original paint looks like under the wrap, etc. Im sure if it went back to stock, u can get a better price. otherwise, im on the sideline. GLWS.
