Default Detroit NAIAS Photos

As you may be aware today is the first day of the 2018 Detroit North American International Auto Show. Like you I am eagerly awaiting to see the latest photos from Chevy. I am wondering if anyone here has any pics of Chevy’s latest offerings? I’m interested to know if Chevy has any surprises on display their like maybe C8 designs. Please chime in if you have attended and would like to share your pics. Thank you.

I am going the 18th for Industry preview, by then we will know whats in store. Sure the new Trucks are going to be the big news along with showing the ZR1. Not too hopeful on the C8 but who knows, they might pull a Ford on us! lol... Speaking of Ford, would not be surprised to see a new killer Mustang at the show

Chevy's press conference for the Silverado is today. If they're going to pull any surprises, we'll know very soon. They won't just quietly roll it out later in the week.

The 2005 Corvette debuted at the Detroit Opera House on 1/4/2004 as an off site media event for the 2004 NAIAS.

The C6 convertible debuted at 2 months later at Geneva.

It's interesting GM no longer really focuses on U.S. reveals for some of their cars (i.e., the C7 ZR1 and the C6).

The C6 did debut in Detroit. The C6 convertible was in Geneva.
There is NO WAY the mid-engine debuts ANYWHERE but the U.S.

You are right on Deb. Been tons of posts right here on CVF the past months predicting the ME’s reveal this week at NAIAS. In spite of more than that amount of posts with facts and reasons why the ME is not happening this year, and not until exactly 364 days from now, the “false reveal” posts continued and continued.

And of course the automotive media contributed to that erroneous hype with their “could be,” “might be” posts/articles to increase their site clicks.

Unfortunately, we will see another 100+ erroneous predictions here that the ME will be revealed this year, predicting at every major car show in the world, and at every C7.R race. We have already seen at least some of those...

But, NO for Daytona race in two weeks; NO for the Chicago Auto Show, etc. etc.

When I started my ME reveal countdown clock, it was at over 550 days. The good news is that we are now, finally, at less than one year. [Not that that year will go by fast enough for any of us who visit this section...]
