Default Engine Compartment Detail 66 427/425

Pulling the 427 for a rebuild. While it's out, I'd like to detail the engine compartment. Does anyone have color photos, or a link to photos in a forum post of a correctly detailed engine compartment (with the engine out) I do have access to a judging manual, but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I suppose a good written description would also be good to have. Such as what is painted and what is not.

If all else fails, closeup photos with the engine installed.

Thanks in advance

[Mainly the lines and brass blocks. Some of the bolts and other attachments. Everything is pretty much covered up with black paint now. So, you are saying the new judging manual has color photos? I tried to order one recently, but NCRS said they didn't have any. Seems I saw a new manual which covered 66 and 67. My old manual is 66 only, spiral bound paper and no photos as I recall.

all the brake and gas lines are natural steel, and the blocks are natural as well. the brackets that hold the blocks where a zinc type finish. the bolts where black phosphate. it looks the 65-66 manual is sold out or out of print.

I put your thread title into a Google search and came up with this:

NCRS is showing a new 66 Manual for $50. Hopefully it has color pictures. Maybe I can find a correct 66 somewhere nearby and get my own photos. Thanks for your help

There's some serious eye candy in that link.

The current 66 Judging Guide is a few years old, and all B/W photos. The new 67 Judging Guide with all color photos just came out. The new 66 JG is in revision phase now, and likely will not appear until late this year or next. It will be in color as will all NCRS JGs from now on.
