Suggestion - Leather Wrap interior panels
I’d like to have my A-pillar and windshield/sunvisior panels re-wrapped in black leather. I’d appreciate suggestions on who to use.

I had everything, including new seats, done by Caravaggio @ the same time. Getting ALL the stuff you want to get done together means it will be from the same batch, and match perfectly, not just color, but grain.
Just a thought.

Try a local upholsterer. I did and couldn’t be happier. You also get to see the materials first hand. And, you can get custom if so desired.

You can also buy the pieces in kit form from Redline Goods, a vendor on the forum. Quality is very good and you can get the pieces made anyway you'd like them. They made a specially custom console lid for me and I was completely happy with it.

These were pre cut and stitched from a company out of the UK on ebay. I made the double din and wrapped it all my self.. heat gun and 3m spray adhesive is the trick but very easy and priced perfect. They have a lot of cuts for the interior. Hope this helps.

Do you have the info to contact them. I didn't find them on e-bay, but did stumble across them a few years ago.

An alternative to leather: vinyl.
When I redid my interior I selected a black vinyl (that had the same texture as leather) for the A pillars. [I did a major stereo upgrade, complemented by custom seat covers, leather-wrapped panels, etc.] Why? Because I didn't want sunshine to damage the wrapped A pillars, and theorized that leather would be more likely to suffer from direct sunlight than vinyl.
At this same time I cut holes in the A pillars as a place in which to mount tweeters (as part of my custom stereo upgrade).
Honestly I can't tell (visually) the difference between the leather and the vinyl. Cost for either option was close to the same, so my choice was solely based on my concerns about long-term durability.
Just a thought.
