Default Ice Warning

Got my first ice warning on my DIC today! Something is broke in Florida! You Yankees best keep the 27 degree crap up there where it belongs!

I immediately pulled over, put on my tire chains, threw sand over my right shoulder, spit 3 times down wind and drove 30 MPH below the posted speed limit with my 4-way flashers running. Kinda like the folks in Hawaii when the wrong button got pushed by mistake!

The only thing you forgot was to put the two 50Lb bags of sand in the nice little convertible trunk ya got there. If it gets really really bad, like in the teens, don't forget to line your conv top inside with aluminium foil to keep the frost from forming and dripping down on you

Believe me, If I could send it down your way I would.
My daughter lives in Chiply, about 2 hours west of Tallahassee and she sent me a video and was all excited because it was lightly snowing there the other morning....I told here come back up north, you'll see plenty !

If I could put stop sticks on the Florida Georgia border for temperature invasions I'd do it!

That warning comes on at 37 degrees.

Our son lives in Bismarck, ND. He says you’re a bunch of pussies.

I'm a tropical person

I really dislike this cold weather we've been experiencing (south Louisiana). Give me heat all day long. I'm sure it's just what you're used to. I have family in North Dakota (Fargo, Grand Forks). That's insanely cold. My mother is from Grand Forks. I got no cold weather genes from her.

My wife had rotator cuff surgery back before Christmas and I was taking her to her PT appointment this morning. We drove out of the housing area at 10:30 and the temp on the screen showed it was up to 38°, and there were a bunch of golfers out on the course as we drove by!!

Here are a couple pictures forum member jimman sent me back just before the first of the year. He's from San Diego, but was up in Wisconsin visiting family. You can see it's a COLD at -9°!! And I haven't ever seen that "FROZEN" on my DIC!!!

If my DIC said FROZEN, I'd move to the Bahamas!

Too funny Elmer. I saw my first ice warning a few weeks ago on a chilly morning heading from my place in Fleming Island, FL to the road course at Keystone Air Park. ...by lunchtime though, I had 4 hot tires on my DIC. You can bet I was super easy on the throttle getting to the track. Oh, and so much for global warming.

I see it too, a lot. Most times it is fake news. If someone can't help us get rid of this message, then this is Big Brother in action.
