Default For all with Z06 overheating issues***

Folks,
Many of you may already know about our proven Solution for the Z06 overheating issue. We have done miles upon miles on track with no issues with our Fully developed LG Dual Cooling intercooler package with LG Super Cool radiator etc.

We are going one step further this weekend. We are entered in a "Tuner/Project car Challenge" in Florida this weekend. Starting with a 1/2 mile run in Ocala on Saturday , then a day at Daytona on Sunday, followed by a day at Sebring. Here are the two cars that we are taking. One is the white road race version that will be on track with around 800 engine hp and a stock GM Supercharger, LG Cam and LG Headers with a 15% overdrive pulley.

The Red C7 Z06 is our Straight line car with all our goodies and a pro charger and around 1500 hp. the weak link in the Red car is the A8 Transmission that can not take this kind of HP.

The white car is a full track car with everything anyone will need to pummel the track on any track day.

We will be validating once again what our Cooling system can do.

When you are tired of the Lawsuit, just give us a call and we can get you on track with no overheating. PERIOD!!

Stay tuned.

Do you have any improvement kits that utilize the existing brake duct for additional cooling, im not super interested in cutting my bumper.

Hi

no because a track car needs brake cooling as well and the intercoolers need good air to do their job.

We have a lot of customers that keep their stock bumpers as is and we supply them with a new bumper with the louvers.

we have not seen anyone remove them because they work, so you end up with a nice Stock Bumper off your car as a wall hanging in your man-cave

Hi guys it was raining in Daytona so it was easy to stay cool but at Sebring it was around 80° And we did lap after lap after lap - never got above 194 water temperature never had any issues with the intake air temperature or manifold temps. I completely wore out a set of front brakes pads without ever getting anywhere near hot. The validation is complete we are really proud of the our accomplishment Thanks Lou G.

That's awesome, what lap times were you running? Did you run the PDR and if yes can you post video?

If there was just one cooling upgrade i did, whether additional oil cooling or additional radiator or supercharger radiator what should it be? Im having a hell of a time wrapping my head around spending 5 grand on my first brand new car ive ever bought 5hat was supposed to be "thr most track ready corvette ever". 2017 z06 manual.

I have a question about the plastic trim that goes on the outside of the bumper, do you that in carbon fiber? And is it perfect tight fit ?

thank you

I get your point, but here's a question. Are you going to be happy when you spend X and get minimal or just somewhat-good results in cooling? It seems like it takes more than just one thing---they work in combination. To me, I'll wait for Lou to answer, but the sum of the parts is more than each piece individually. Not saying you have to spend it all, but your results may be disappointing to you.

The only solution we guarantee is the supercool system, however, you can start with our SuperCool Radiator and coolant expansion tank. Those work in conjunction with our full system if/when you upgrade later on. We also offer a carbon fiber aero hood with a larger louvered area for better heat extraction and reduced front end lift (it also looks really really good).

Do you have data on how much that helps lower temps vs stock during a typical track session?

With our radiator and a 160 degree thermostat you will see a 10-15 degree drop, I don't know how much the expansion tank will increase as these are components that are generally added to the system. The single most effective thing you can do is the twin intercooler set up that is $3800. The root issue is that the factory intercooler is too close to the radiator and compromises the effectiveness of the radiator. By deleting the OEM intercooler and placing twin intercoolers on either corner cool air can flow directly into the radiator the overheating issue is corrected for most applications. The radiator, oil cooler and coolant expansion tank are added as needed for longer track sessions, racing, and hotter climates.

This couldn't be any truer. It's exactly what I did. I should have gone with more than the Dewitt's kit. It helps, but doesn't completely cure the issue.

This is very important advise.

I'm so pissed about the whole situation that I'm primarily going back to drag racing this year. I'll run a few of the Optima series events, but not all like I did last year.
