Default Nav unit won’t shut off, bad battery...?

Well as the title says.. I had the battery in the basement and once a month for the last 3 I put the tender on it. I’m trailering it this weekend so had to put it in to get the beast in the trailer.. now this.

Let it sit for 10mins messed with fob and it stayed on.

Hopes it’s a bad old battery as it’s the original from 2012.

Anyone have this happen to them?

Never had that happen. Anytime I've disconnected the battery and reconnected, everything worked as it should. The one time that I had a bad cell in the battery that didn't have enough juice to start the car, I did have a lot of weird and unpleasant codes, alarms, etc. They all cleared when I connnected the car to a new battery. I also had to re-index the windows, but that was it.
Will the battery start the car?
If so, then you have a glitch that can be correctyed by either sdisconnecting the battery, or pulling the radio fuse.
