Default Waffling on Color for interior

I have a Watkins Glen Grey exterior. So, I had planned on going with spice red for my seats, and the usual trim pieces (dash cowl "w" looking piece, console lid and side piece, hand grab piece, and maybe even the glove box and door panel pieces). But, true to form (right before pulling the trigger) I'm wondering if another choice (adrenaline red) would be better.

This is based on the realization that Spice red look a lot like maroon. What do you think Spice or Adrenaline ?

I have a WGG with Adrenaline Red interior (2LT). I think the brighter red contrasts better with the dark gray exterior.

I really like the AR shade, but personally like the two-tone version to "tone it down" just a little. Never had seen this until I saw my car at the dealership.

IMO the Spice Red looks good with the WGG and black interior accents, and the Adrenaline Red gives it a 1900s New Orleans bordello look...

I had a white C7 with an AR interior. Hated the idea until I owned it, now I love that color!

My Arctic White has only the seats in adrenaline red. Just the right amount of color to offset all the black without overdoing it.

FWIW, I once had a bright red 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL (405HP, cough) with a bright red interior. And I thought it was so cool until I burned out on it. I have found over the years that any Zip! Pow!! BANG!!! Yowza!!! color looks really good at first glance and for awhile, but over time it becomes overwhelming to the point that you wish you had toned it down a notch. I'm not saying going all black is the way to go here, but I think you may appreciate a more muted color as the years go by. So with that in mind I think Spice Red is pretty cool. I traded my bright purple VW bug for a sedate black Cadillac, too. And now I have an LBR vette just to keep it down a notch. But that's just me.

I'm with Jimmbbo and vote for the Spice Red....could be because you just don't see many with that interior. I also like the fact that the dash and everything will be in Spice Red...might be a bit much for some people.

Someone had posted a pic of their Watkins Glen Grey exterior with the light grey interior. It looked awesome.

That said, I am partial to the two tone black/adrenaline red interior.

I have an Arctic White GS with the spiced red package. I really love it, it gives you both the subtle look but also a very sporty look. I had a 2014 Cyber Grey Stingray before my GS. It had a 3LT Kalahari interior and it was an incredible match with the grey. Have you considered Kalahari?

I always thought the AR looked too "orangy" for my taste. Spice red is toned down and would (to my eye), look classier w/ that body color.

Realize, its your car and choices should be based on what you like and not a forum poll. If I let the forum members choose my car, I'd be driving one I didn't want. (no offense)

AR is a young persons color........... Spice is for the Buick crowd IMHO. Yea its my opinion.

But in the end its your car. Does not matter what any of us think. You get in it and has to be able to say to yourself each and everytime....... OH man this is soooooooooo sweet!!! I am a lucky dude!!!

Each time I see my car I almost pinch myself, I think how do I ever deserve one of these and that's before I hit that little square button and use my right foot.

I have this with Long Beach Red exterior. Just another option to consider. You have to get both the two tone and microfiber insert options, otherwise the edges of the seats are black with gray inserts with just two tone.

I like the idea of the Spice Red for the gray. I love the Adrenaline Red with the white. It might be worth looking at the two tone because those tone down any color and look nice (AR two tone with the gray). It really just boils down to a combination of what you like the most and if you feel you are going to replace the car in a couple of years. If you keep it forever then it should be something that you love regardless of what anyone else says. If you know you are going to replace it in a couple of years it might be worth thinking of what will help you sell it down the line.

Yes, but I believe with the reverse (two tone only) you get black carpets rather than grey. I do like yours allot, very "airy", though some say the grey carpeting is hard to keep clean.

White or red exterior, I like adrenaline red. Both exterior colors are bright and compliment the adrenaline red interior. On a dark colored car (black or grey) spice red looks very sharp. Personally, I think spice red gives the car a more expensive and refined look. But, as the saying goes, “To each their own.”
