Arctic White Color Match Vinyl Wrap?
Sup all,
Has anyone used a color matching wrap to Arctic White? Looking to do the sides of a clear top and would like to simply vinyl it. Any color/brand recommendations?

Did mine 4 months back, used Avery Supreme Wrap White Gloss. Closest match of the samples at the wrap shop. Very insignificant difference to the paint, you really need to focus on it. Came out very nice.

Would you have a full car shot showing the roof? I'm debating now making the center of the halo black, but not sure if want to wrap on paint.

Sure here’s a photo, just took it before heading home from work. I did also consider wrapping the halo in black but was not convinced it would be an improvement and a little concerned of a having a patch work of different shades and gloss of black, from the hatch, to the halo and then transparent roof.

capeli, I did this real quick. Torn if I want to do it or not for your same reasons. Plus don't know if I want vinyl on paint.

Like how you did that with the halo in the photo, but now that I see it, I think I’ll leave it in white. Doesn’t appeal to me enough to bother with it. But if it’s your thing, I would not be concerned about the wrap over paint, most stripes you see on cars are vinyl, and if you don’t like the look, it’s easily removed with no damage to the paint

Well, this thread inspired me. Ordered the vinyl online and did the wrap myself. It's pretty easy as long as you use vinyl wrap cutting tape. It's a slightly cooler white than Artic White, but it's not something most people would notice.

I wound up painting the sides of a clear top. Cost me $200 and I loved it. (Until I sold the car)
Now I miss it haha

Thinking of doing my clear top sides myself as I have vettskins on it now and just lost one side driving down the highway.

The thing with the Vetteskins is that the vinyl doesn’t extend down into the ‘valley’ of the clear top, which I thought would look a little odd. Main reason why I didn’t go with those.

Great input guys!
I'm scoping these threads to get an idea of cutoff lines:

Going to start inquiring wrappers and now painters!

Here's a few more shots of what I did to better show the inside line. Basically just followed the valley. Never tried the Vetteskins, but if they don't include the valley part, I certainly wouldn't want it. Also, it's important to have overlap for the front, side and back so that the vinyl can be tucked under. That will prevent edge of the vinyl from peeling off and blowing away.
In response to the question about the A pillars, I've not done it, but it would be extremely easy to do as a vinyl wrap as long as you used cutting tape.

Actually, regarding the A pillar, might be more of a job than I thought at first. Certainly the vinyl wrap part would be extremely easy, but I took a closer look and see that the A pillar actually has a plastic exterior trim piece. To do the job right, you'd need to remove the trim panel and then wrap it off the car. This would allow you to wrap the vinyl around the edges and have a complete white (or whatever color) look. So the only question is how hard is it to remove that trim panel.
