Novi Stretch Bra
Anyone have experience with this novi stretch bra? Doing a NCM delivery and driving to Miami. Looking for protection from road debris, rocks, Pebbles etc... Will this give me the necessary protection without scuffing paint? Any feedback would be appreciated.

The one I had on my ZL1 offered no real protection from rocks, it was mostly just to keep bug guts off the bumper. The bra sits so tight against the cars paint that there isn't any way it would protect from rocks.

They are great for keeping debris out of the radiator but probably marginal for rocks. Have Xpel for that.
Only caution is if you have the stage 2 splitter. I have had two of the Novistretch bras and both got a pretty sizeable tear in the same spot after a very short time. Still use it but keep that in mind.

Did the R8C (NCM delivery) with a drive home to California. Novi Stretch Mask all the way not a chip or scratch in 3K+miles. Love mine, not only protects from bugs and small debris but keeps radiator and heat exchangers clear and clean. Photo at COTA during our return trip home.

Bug and debris mainly.. A rock( big enough) will not be stopped. Basically it's fat chicks panty hose.. Heavy duty over standard..
I have one and use it on longer trips so I don't have to deal with million suicidal bugs that decided to go out in style..

If you are concerned about bugs, rock chips and other debri that may find your front end a temporary covering of blue painter's tape will work miracles. A solution I employed when I drove my vette home from WPB to Houston. Not a chip to be found.

This made me laugh out loud.
I have one (Novistretch, not a fat chick), AND I have xPel. I use the novistretch for long trips. I have occasionally hit rocks that dinged the xPel through the bra, but the bra does provide good protection against bugs and small rocks and sandblasting. I wouldn't use it on a track day.....I would probably use painter's tape.
I did use painters tape when I drove my first Z home 500 miles from MacMulkin. It was a hot day though and the blue tape didn't like the heat, so I accidentally littered the Mass Pike with blue tape. So I stopped at a Lowes and bought the regular masking tape which stayed on, but which left some glue residue which I had to remove prior to the Xpel installation.
For the second Z, I was a novistretch expert by then so I installed the snaps and the bra right at the dealer before I drove home. Took me about 15 minutes.
