Installed a Borla x-pipe on my Z51
Finally bought a Borla x pipe from a great forum member and installed it on my 2017 z51 yesterday. Wow it Sounds amazing, it’s day and night. When you give it WOT it sounds like a whole new monster. Def happy with my results. The idle is a bit louder but not obnoxiously Annoying, maybe I’ll pull the fuse on my npp and see how that sounds. Only other mod is a Afe intake. The two make a good mod

Awesome! I'm doing one of these soon too. Why did you have to pull the bumper? Seems like you would be able to pull it without removing that cover (Was the scissor jack in the way?)
Either way, excellent!

Very nice! Apart from sound was there a worthwhile noticeable performance increase? Do you think the secondary cat deletes provide any less restriction? Any issues with OBD codes or warranty in your opinion?

Overall I think this is a great mod for the C7

I personally don't see any performance increase with the "butt-o-meter" but on a clock their might be as no doubt the exhaust flows a little more freely without the unmonitored cats.
As reported here by lots of members, no CEL's or other lights as the cats removed are not monitored.
Warranty issues? I kind of think it depends on your dealer and if they want to be picky. JMO. My local dealer service writer that has taken very good car of my car (a car guy himself) said he could care less, not a big deal.

Why'd you pull the fascia? I did a Corsa x-pipe last month and no reason to touch the bumper. Sound improvement with the stock adjustable mufflers is great.

Yep,had a different xpipe that had resonators at the front, and just recently went with the borla x pipe and for me personally the sound is a bit deeper and love it ,and such an easy mod to do especially with my quicklift ,made it a breeze

From forum vendor: Borla - $370.00 as of this post (I just looked it up)
Other forum vendors on here also have the borla product(s).
If you want a awesome (IMO) sound at WOT without driving the neighbors nuts on early Sunday morning, this is the way to go.
You didn't say if you had NPP performance exhaust. If not, not sure of the difference.

Yea there wasn’t really a need to remove the rear bumper. Kind of did it more out of curiosity then anything else. Install was a breeze. Def enjoying my c7 even more now after install

Love the Borla X-pipe! Here is a write-up I did a few years ago that may be of interest to some: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-vs-corsa.html
