2015 Z06 Locked with fob in side
I live in the country and my garage has dead bolts so I leave my keys in my car. My 2015 Z06 is sitting on the factory battery tender. I was in it two or three days ago looking at something. Today I go to open the door and the door will not unlock. I know I could use the spare set of keys, but I still would like to know how it locked by itself? I don't think I have the passive lock set to on.
Thoughts?

happens all the time with all makes of cars. computers don't always work perfectly all the time, just think of the one on your desk (or lap).....things as simple as a browser crashing that we look past and just restart things, the same minor glitch in the car can cause an issue you notice more like this one.

Maybe the battery failed. AAA is next thing that comes to mind!
Good luck!

he plainly said he knows he could use the spare set of keys but he wants to know why it happened. besides, the onstar app will unlock your phone, you don't need triple a.

Yeah, I found out the hard way. My detailer called me telling me I locked the keys in the car. I said there was no fn way. Sure enough...somehow it locked with the key sitting right on the seat.

For example, "your too funny" should be you're too funny, and should be a separate sentence.

I know you probably think you're smart and maybe you are where you live or maybe you're some kind of antisocial savant, maybe a modern day Rainman. But whatever is going on in your head, it doesn't come across in real life. Something is lost in translation riding on the radio waves from Wonderland.
BTW, carb loading at night with a big bowl of milk? Good, good. You're doing everything right. If you are spitting up you might want to have a doctor check your esophageal sphincter.
