Hello from work and first oil change problem
Just drove in and crossed 500 miles. Local dealer at destination created a big scene refusing to put mobil-1 claiming they only put what the oil cap says which in my case is Dexos. I threatened to call GM and showed them a document from GM saying Mobil-1 is required. Manager became argumentative and then did research and checked her computer and saw that I was right. She apologized and informed all the service staff. Anyway, here’s some pics.

Nice pictures, nice Vette as for the oil it really makes no difference between the two. Much about nothing.

As an aside the service advisor was telling me about an issue she had with a Camaro customer, he installed headers and blew his engine , $15k is the estimate. Keep your warranty guys

If the dealer doesn't know about Mobil 1, than I would wonder what other information they are missing about the vette.

My dealer did same thing on my 14 oil change, even after I told them and they said would put in M1. Excuse was same as yours, only put in what cap says. They got to drain and refill it with M1. And they did give me a M1 cap!!! Amazing I guess that some dealers are still in dark ages.
