Default C7 carbon rear spoiler

Interested in doing a C7 carbon exposed carbon rear spoiler. I have a visible carbon roof and want them to match but can't find any information if the weave matches. If anyone has any c7 carbon exposed carbon parts and could chime in or post some pictures that would be awesome. Hate to drop $800 on something that doesn't match.

You mean like this one?

https://acscomposite.com/collections...-fiber-spoiler

Note: Descriptor says it fits all models Stingray to Grand Sport to Z06.

yeah like that. I don't know how they can say that it works with all 3. They all have bad descriptions and can get lost for 2k as far as I'm concerned. I'll just buy a oem zo6 spoiler if I can't find something that will match for under $1000

haha whoops. I didn't read all the way though. I'm doing a zo6 rear conversion on my 14 and although I like the oem carbon one it's beyond what I'm willing to spend was trying to find something that matched for around 800 but if not I'll just do the carbon flash one which I think looks pretty decent on my father's Z.

Just received my Visible CF Spoiler from C7Carbon Sales but it’s going to stay sealed in it’s box until end of February. Cannot risk animals or wily children damaging it. Took them five-weeks to “manufacture” and two-weeks to ship. If you’re not needing to purchase right away, I will be happy to take pics for you. I also ordered their Visible CF Rear Diffuser, which includes an exhaust surround. Their Visible CF, Stage 2 Spoiler does not include a wickerbill. I purchased mine from JWMotorsports. Also, a forum vendor.

Sure! Happy to. Haven’t taken delivery of Z06, yet but will do so as soon as possible. All these parts, so much time on my hands but no Z to decorate and modify....
OK. No comments from peanut gallery because I used the word “decorate” when referring to my’Vette. ;-D. I truly am a serious car gal!

As much as vendors says matches OEM, I have found that the weave pattern might be the same but the shade/tint will always vary.

A friend of mine and myself have the exact same APR Carbon Fiber Z06 Replica spoiler for the Z51 and the shading is close but not exactly the same. He had OEM Carbon Fiber side skirts and the APR Spoiler shade did not match in color but he's not OCD so it didn't bother him whereas it could bother someone else.

The only time you will get exact match is when you buy a package bundle as the dye or tint can vary by each batch of product produced.

thanks for the reply I have the carbon roof so it helps that you won't really be looking at both of prices at the same time. With that being said if they are really far off it will defiantly bother me.

I also have carbon fiber roof on my Z51. The C7 Carbon Z06 spoiler seems to match fine, though there are a few tiny imperfections in the weave, though they're really only seen if you're looking for them.

Fit is fine, their mould is made from a factory Z06 spoiler (in fact you can see the GM logo on the bottom of the logo from when they made the mould)

(I also have C7Carbon's side skirts and front spoiler)

This illustrates the difference in OEM vs Aftermarket...all look nice but different.
