Hello All!
Hey there, my name is Justin. I've been a member of this forum for a little bit but I'm trying to start actively using it.
I picked up my first Corvette about a year and a half ago. It's a 2008 3LT coupe. They just built a new 1/8 mile dragstrip right up the road from me so I decided to go with the 6-speed auto for better consistency at the track. All my previous cars were manual transmission so it was and is still a bit odd not to be able to row the gears, but the paddles help a little bit.
Over the last year and a half, I've done some small things here and there, mostly aesthetic, but I think they really helped to make the car look a bit more aggressive and sporty.
Since I picked the car up, I've added:
-Smoked Eagle Eye taillights
-C6 Z06 wheels
-Michelin Pilot SS tires
-GM full width spoiler
-ZR1 front lip
-Wrapped the roof/halo in 3M gloss black
-Diablosport Intune (picked up cheap from a buddy)
-Lowered all the way on stock bolts
I've got the F1 paddleshift module on order to make the paddles work like they are supposed to and I've also purchased a B&B bullet exhaust from another member that should be here soon. She's slowly turning into a really fun, headturning ride.
I'm saving for a house this year but once that's all over I'm hoping I can finally turn my attention to some serious performance upgrades like an A&A supercharger, stall, etc. Make her a real beast at the local track.
But anyways, enough rambling on Here are some pics, looking forward to utilizing this forum like I have on my previous cars.
