Default Acrylic top value?

When I purchased my '04 Coupe back in September, it came with both the color matched top and the acrylic top.

I rode around one day with the acrylic top on (it was a bright sunny day and it burned me up!!!) and then it went into storage.

Seeing as how I prefer the color matched top and have almost zero anticipation of ever using the acrylic top, I'm contemplating putting it up for sale. Which leads me to the question, what is a used (in excellent shape) GM C5 acrylic top worth?

I would have interest in it for around $300 if it has no crazing or scratches and the weatherstripping is in good shape. That would be a good deal for a nice one.

IMO - If it’s in perfect shape like you say you can expect it to fetch at least $600 - $800 easy. The top can be expensive to ship, so it all depends on how fast you want to unload it and if you sell local or ship it.

I would only sell it local, that way the buyer can come inspect it.

One sold here a little bit ago for I believe $400. It wasn't 100% perfect and had a couple really small cracks by the rain gutter. Other then that it was pretty decent.

I guess I'll shoot high, list it for $800 and see what happens. Since I'm in no particular hurry to unload it, that would certainly give me some spending money for other mods. Thanks everyone.

A good price for a lexan top in excellent shape would be around $600 +/-.

That's just my opinion though.

I bought mine locally off craigslist. Seller sold his '03 coupe, buyer didn't want the transparent top which was in mint condition. I paid $475 cash.

So it sounds like $500 is a more reasonable asking price...
