If you haven't listened to his Dinner With Racers podcast episodes, they're very interesting.
Jeff Braun's episode talking about the craziness of working at Level 5:

You just need to send the letters to his new address. He'll be there for the next 16+ years.

"As an example of the deception in Tucker’s business, prosecutors showed the jury evidence that workers in Overland Park were given daily weather reports from tribal lands in Nebraska and Oklahoma, so that the employees could make it seem to borrowers that they were, in fact, doing business from the tribal property."

I remember a former employer telling us about Tucker wanting a crazy D-Sport racer, and that he wouldn't be able to tell him the quote. Only to find out later how much Level 5 spent on that beast!

This might be the best quote from the article in reference to their defense against usury laws by claiming they were operating on Tribal lands:
"As an example of the deception in Tucker’s business, prosecutors showed the jury evidence that workers in Overland Park were given daily weather reports from tribal lands in Nebraska and Oklahoma, so that the employees could make it seem to borrowers that they were, in fact, doing business from the tribal property."

Melting Slicks
Or his F430C on the grid with airjacks down and wheels inside heating blankets on the back of a support vehicle right next to the grid waiting for the 5 min count. Oh, and he out qualified the field by 2 seconds. Good riddance to him..

Scott Tuckers racing career is featured in episode #2 on Neflix's new series "Dirty Money" that was released on January 26th. I haven't watched it yet, but plan to tonight. I had a racing schedule conflict with the Auctions America liquidation sale so I couldn't make it last summer, but there was quite a list of assets sold. I raced against Scott in The SCCA in T1 and GT2 and we were always amazed at the way he burned through money. When I was lucky enough to win a trip to the 2011 24 hours of Lemans I ran into him in the paddock. My wife was quite impressed that I knew one of the racers there. The Level 5 paddock/garage was right next the the factory Corvette teams. When the money comes so easy there is always a reason.
