$120K is too much for a non-running power glide car, with corrosion issues under the hood and no frame pictures.

For all you know freash gas and a new battery and it will crank up. Or it’s locked up. Who knows. That car if it’s what your looking for is worth going and looking at

Loaded car. That vinyl covered top is nice. Is the one page the only documentation? Original paint? No description of condition. Looks good topside but who knows underneath. I'd be surprised if it gets 6 figures.

Also, if a one-family owned car, where is all the documentation?

Or it's a scam or a rusted out POS.

This will be a very competitive auction attracting some savvy bidders. The car is extremely desirable, in my mind (and probably others) more so than the holy grail L71. Due diligence is the name of the game.

From way the add is worded the kids have no clue about old cars much less 67 Corvettes and what buyers are looking for and only know what they see on TV. I am sure there is more then what’s listed.

Interesting take.

How can you tell from an ebay listing whether there are savvy bidders and a competitive auction?

But I agree with the due diligence, particularly given that the listing is very lacking in details for a car in this price range. Very lacking.

Did anyone on the forum go look at it yesterday when it was available for inspection?

Agree that $120k is too much.

My experience as a buyer and seller of vehicles on eBay and 173 watchers tells me this one will generate serious interest among the cognoscenti. It checks all the right boxes.

No disrespect intended, but your posts read like someone involved with the sale, perhaps?

Nope. I like the car but am not a player in that price range, unfortunately

The OP was soliciting thoughts on the car, and I gave my honest opinion.

Me neither, in that price range (too cheap, plus I intend to keep my wife).

I've just never heard folks use the word "cognoscenti" on a site not inhabited by the tifosi.

he should take the 90k and run, agree some pics look like old polaroids could be legit.

Too bad guys save things & hand them down to kids who cant wait to get rid of em and spend it what a waste!!
A 49 buck walmart battery and 5 in gas would do wonders.

Why bummed? Bidding still open.

Doesn't make any sense - if it's such a good deal, buy it now for $120K.
