2019 standard discount on Stringray?
I can get the GM supplier discount, but wondering if this is even worth it given the big dealer standard discounts? I live near Detroit so forum dealers are close.
Looks like the GM supplier discount is a whole 6% off MSRP. Looking at M7, Z51, 2LT.
I thought I heard 15% was the standard discount level or am I dreaming?

I don't believe -15% off anytime soon on a 2019. -6% may be the best you can do w/o Supplier disc. Perhaps -9%--10%, may be a stretch too.

Yep 10-11% is the max on a 19 order and a great deal. The big discounts at the big dealers are all on left-over stock, and dependent upon various finance and bonus incentive tricks of the trade.

If you wait 2 years they will be more than 60% off. Many with less than 10 k miles.
Love that depreciation!!!

I've seen dealers offer about 10% off for a factory ordered 19. I know one 17 GS 3LT that is around 20% off but they still can't keep up with the depreciation as you lose another $10k or so once you drive it off the lot.

I could not talk a local dealer down below 15% last month on a 2017 and they had dozens left in stock. That's why I went out of state and got a better deal on a 2018.

Not in Canada. A check of the Auto Trader up here shows only TWO 2016s that have asking prices less than what I paid for my 2018. And even the 2014s and 2015s still haven't dropped below the $50,000 threshold yet. That's why I ended up buying new instead of used, the prices weren't dropping enough up here on the used ones.

Well I am feeling humble. I got about 6% off a 2018 order here in the DC area back in September 2017. The factory was closing at that time so I am not sure if that was a factor. I did visit many dealers and haggle but no one budged much and I didnt want one off the lot. Few stick shifts and boring color schemes.

Don't know what kind of deal he can make for you, but give a shout to Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet in MD. He will give you a good up-front price without a lot of BS.
He at least deserves a shot at earning your business and NOBODY knows more about Corvettes than he. With his huge allocations, he can get you the exact car you want via factory order too.

Supplier voucher can help for sure. If you can get supplier pricing, it doesn't necessarily mean you have to pay that price. Some forum dealers have offered sales where a supplier voucher is already used in the price. I've called and asked since I use GM Card earnings which cannot be combined with a supplier voucher.
Most dealers have hook-ups to provide supplier vouchers themselves. My local dealer will heavily discount a car and then subtract the supplier voucher amount they will get back from that price.
