I'm interested to know if these stay in pucks fit for the font and rear of the C6 with no clearance issues? I've ran them on my C5 Corvette and they would fit fine in the front but the rears would hit the rocker panel slightly.
I was reading that thread earlier and they are talking about the round BMW jacking pucks but the ones I'm interested in are the rectangular jacking pads.
Just buy 4 hockey pucks from the internet...I found some for $2.00 each. Go to Lowes and get 4 eye bolts, put the eye bolts in, some super glue, and call it a day. Less than $20. Get you a small pouch to put them in an keep them in one of the rear compartments.

I use a small cut of a 2X4 $00000.I've only used a jack maybe four time since new in 2008,if pucks are needed then why didn't GM offer them...............

Because GM designed the cars to be worked on in a dealership or repair shop setting. The lifts the shops use have the jack pads built in or are provided as an accessory by the lift manufacturer.
If you've only used a jack 4 times in the last 10 years, it's clear you don't work on your own car and ergo have no need for pads. Others are DIY'ers and work on their cars frequently (either for repairs and/or for track prep) and have the need for the pucks.
2x4 will crush and eventually split when used often enough. Not what you want to occur when the car is up on jackstands.

GM does offer the Kent-Moore factory jacking pucks per your factory service manual.they are a little more expensive though

I work on my cars and have been for 60 years plus.I have no need to jack up my vettes and put on jack stands to get under it,i had my headers and cam installed at a pro shop then tuned.When i change my oil i have a pair of ramps.I work under the hood and etc....So tell me why I should go under my vettes when there is no need to????.If it is on jack stands the 2x4 has no effect,because the jack is removed .

Bottom line....you do minor work on your car. You take it somewhere for other work. Telling someone there’s no need for the pucks that actually does work on their car is laughable.

I have never been on a track because there not one near me...So no need to do what you guys do.I have run at the Texas mile twice but did not need to change anything..I've put in a new Radiator,new hoses.stat,alternator, TB,new belts.plugs and wires four batteries and other small components..I DID not tell anyone not to use pucks.The only time it has been to the dealer is for warranty work...Fuel pump and the low beam headlight recall.I jacked up my old cars with a Bumper Jack in the 60th's to change out a clutch and many transmissions.Never heard of jacking pucks until i got my first C6..There are a lot of guys that use wood for ramps and on a jack..So you can Laugh your all you want..

Translation: Jacking pucks are not needed and by asking about them, the OP (and anyone else) must be crazy for wanting them.
Then you got called on the carpet because....
1) GM does offer pucks
2) Just because you don't have a need for them, doesn't mean other people don't have a need for them
I'll join this silly debate. I've owned 4 Vettes. never had one in a shop... do my own work. Having said that, I can't say that I've ever had the need for (4) "custom" jacking pads. I put a 3" chunk of 2X4 on my jack. Once I get the car up on a stand, the jack comes out.
The only reason I can see for needing (4) separate pads that attach in the slots, is if I were to have a post lift.
I am seriously thinking of having a velvet pouch made for the block.
