Whats a Cut and Clamp version vs Regular?

The cut and clamp version is if you wan to keep the secondary cat's in place. Doesn't make much sense to me, the whole point of the x-pipe is to get rid of the secondary cat's.

I also had Jegs price match the x-pipe. However, after I realized it was back-ordered, I canceled my Jegs order and price matched it with CarID.com. I received the x-pipe two days ago, there was even a Borla hat in the box.
