Just use synthetic, it's a couple dollars more a year and you get the right stuff. If $10 a year more breaks you then you probably don't need to be driving a corvette.

The engineers that designed the powertrain specified fully synthetic oil. For the small price difference, I would follow what the engineers said to use. I use Mobil 1 5W30 in mine.

5W30 Mobil 1, also. Even with only 2000 miles a year I would suggest changing oil and filter at least twice a year. Cheap insurance.

I would use what the engineers specify Mobil 1....buy it at walmart or on sale at an autoparts store, i think it cost me $34 with a mobil 1 filter when it was on sale last time.
look at as increasing sale value when you go to sell it, and life will not end if you do it at a 3000 miles/1.5 yrs interval

I wouldn't go to a Juicy Lube for all the tea in china !!!!
Use Synthetic 5w30 Just like it Says on Oil Fill Cap.
LS is designed around this spec...
And I change my oil at VERY minimum twice a year.. Even on the years
that I've only driven it maybe 1K miles....
Oil and Filters are CHEAP...
IDK Why people invest SO much money into an asset, then try to
save a few $$ a year.. It's just not worth it.
