Default Agonizing wait...joined the Forum too early

I joined this forum to learn all about the great things Corvette owners enjoy about being Corvette owners....and now I’m dying waiting for mine to deliver. Maybe I should have joined after I had one sitting in my garage. My first Vette, a C7 GS 2LT is somewhere on a truck between Boston and Houston. I just wish it would get here already.....

Congrats on having your new Vette in transit, and on joining the Forum.
Lots of information available to learn prior to delivery, and more so, after it is home!
BTW, I also joined the Forum after my first Vette was ordered, and prior to delivery, learned a lot of information prior to getting my hands on my car.

Welcome to Corvette Forums and new C7 ownership.
Yes, try to concentrate more on the "the great things Corvette owners enjoy about being Corvette owners" and less on all the issues shared here. Remember forums are where folks come to share and get info on things that have gone wrong and most often these issues can seem WAY MORE widespread that they actually are.

Congrats. Have you tried pinging it via OnStar. Might help with the wait knowing exactly where she is and its current delivery progress. Excellent color choice by the way.

Just ordered my car too. It’s the twin of yours except I added a red interior and competition seats. It will be my second C7 but I sold my 2014 a while ago so it feels like a brand new experience. You are in for a treat.

Beautiful car!

Now is the perfect time to cruise all of the good info up in the Sticky Threads section. Start with the Owner's Manual!

Enjoy!

Default Congrats!

I lurked for maybe 9 months and joined after I bought my '08 in '14. So I gained a lot of info here to use while shopping.

And I know the agony! Bought a 2016 Z06 in December 2 days before snow arrived in Chicago.
It's been under a cover in the garage ever since but we have big rains & a big warm up coming so it comes out this week.

Congrats! There's a lot to learn with these cars, but the more you learn and especially the more you drive it, the more you will enjoy it!

Lol. Congratulations you will love it. I promise you will survive. I joined here back in 2010 after test driving a new GS. For me the car is impractical and I had to wait until August of last year to get mine. Now my biggest problem is staying away from this site as I keep getting mod ideas after promising the wife I wouldn't void the warranty;-)

I've been waiting since I sold my last Corvette in 2012. I still look at inventory every day.

Congrats on your new GS. I Ordered mine 7/18 and took delivery 12/18. I feel your pain. It was nice in Katy yesterday. I had to take it for a ride.

Congratulations. Let's look at the bright side of things.... more time to build your music playlist for the cruises, less miles on the car everyday you're not driving it and you get to experience being a kid waiting for Christmas now. Hope you get your baby soon!

Congrats! I hear you.

My 2018 GS was delivered last week and it seemed like an eternity from the time I bought it in mid-January at Kerbeck's. I still have much to learn...just scratching the surface!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! In a week or so once you have your GS you'll be enjoying it so much you won't even remember the wait. I had mine shipped from NH to SC and believe me, the wait is well worth it. You'll be smiling from ear-to-ear for a long long time.
