Default My 2017 C7 base coupe 7mt procharger project

right now I am ordering all the parts for this upgrade.
car either has 2,300 or 2,600 miles on it ... i forget and its covered in the garage so i cant look right now

Car has corsa x-pipe and corsa xtreme exhaust already

parts ordered are :

-1GU202-SCI - procharger p1sc w/ vertical intercooler, satin finish and race inlet
-Catch can - TBD
-NGK 6510 spark plugs (1 step colder)
-dsx tuning baro breakout harness
-Corsa 1-7/8 Long Tube Headers
-Mishimoto 160F thermostat

end result we are going for is 575-600 WHP on the mustang dyno with load at low boost 6-8psi = fun, reliable, street car/ summer time daily driver

figuring I will get started on this in the next few weekends I would like to document it on here

if all goes as planned I will do the corsa headers on a thurs or fri night, then start the blower when I close my shop on sat afternoon and work sat afternoon/evening and sunday and be complete by sunday evening.

tow or trailer the car down to my buddy at EFX Tuning and drop it so he can tune it

You will be happy with that setup. Mine is similar but I have Kooks long tubes and meth. I don't have overheat issues here in Las Vegas even with 114 degree weather, so no change in the thermostat. I have a 3.85 inch pulley which is one size smaller than what you'll get (4.25?) in the kit and I'm running 9 psi. I had it retuned on a mustang dyno 2 weeks ago and got 594 with the auto transmission. Your results should be a little higher than the same vehicle with an auto transmission.

to save some headaches, before you start installing, take apart the tensioner and grease it good. I learned this the hard way while trying to figure out why I couldn't get past 3 psi when the car was warm.

...still waiting on my procharger. I might put the Corsa Long Tubes and colder plugs in tomorrow. Hopefully procharger comes sometime this week and I can do that next weekend along with the TSTAT and get it dyno tuned and we are ready for summer !
