Z06 tire keeps getting low pressure
My 2017 Z06 keeps getting low pressure on right front tire. Been back to the dealer 3x and they said they can't find anything wrong. I'm already getting annoyed so I ask my service advisor to let me talk to his manager if something he can do about it, like contacting the tire manufacturer or something to get a replacement. My advisor then ask me to let them check it out one more time...so will taking it in again thursday!!
btw only 800 miles on the freakin tires!!!

Melting Slicks
Could be an issue that a hole opens up when the weight of the car pushes down on the tire.
Try to replicate the problem with the soapy water while the wheel and tire is installed.

They should be able to find it with a dunk tank. A dealer probably won’t have one. Take it to a tire shop, have it repaired and charge the dealer.

I suspect that a careful re-inspection of your wheel by another repair shop might reveal a similar problem (not cracks in your rims but an overlooked leak).

The most likely leak is at the TPM Sensor seal. Make sure the nut is tight. I had some slicks that had a slow leak and found the sensor seal was leaking. A partial turn on the nut stopped the leak.

This happened to my C6 on my rear left tire . I took it to a tire store and they replaced the TPMS seal and I was good to go.

Probably right. I had a ZR-1 tire with a slow leak that two tire shops couldn't find. Used a dunk tank but I don't know how quickly they ran it through. Took it to Costco where I had bought the tires and they fairly quickly said bad valve. They replaced it for free and it fixed the problem. I told them I had traditionally increased tire pressures to 50-60 psi during 3 month winter storage. They said that valves are actually only warranted to 40 psi. --Bob

From the notes I'm not sure the tire is losing air. If that were my car and the TPMS kept telling me the tire was low I would be checking it with one of the digital tire gauges to verify that the TPMS was correct. If the tire WAS losing air, according to the gauge then I would take it back to the dealer and tell them what you found and tell them to find the leak or replace the rim or tire or both. I would be pissed too.
I did get a low tire warning out of my TPMS but it was only due to the cold weather.

I don't go to the dealer for leaking tire issues. I go to Discount Tire. Luckily it has only been nail punctures and once an obvious bent rim that was the fault of the driver.

Thanks! Fellows!
After 4th time to the dealer, told the technician to take his time and I don't care how long does it takes coz I'm getting tired of going back and forth. After 2hrs, it was finally diagnosed with a Cracked Rim. Luckily they have it in stock so I don't have to take it back .
