2 fresh videos from yesterday's track day!!
OK, no fluff, just driving in these two vids...
I drove down the mountain on some already used Pirelli scubs, they still had decent tread left. Had a very nice ride down the mountain, then two rip roaring sessions, kinda Bonzi at times, missed a gear or two, and cut one corner off the track, but tied my personal best time, and was the second or third fastest out of everyone that came out that day!
I then had a pretty cool run back up the mountain!!
I really like this track, it suits this car well... Car ran GREAT all day, all I did was add fuel and meth...
Temps were in the high 60s, good HP weather!

Drifting
Cool video - thanks for sharing.
I would love to practice on a track with that much runoff/lack of armco/tires/concrete.
I want to get a better feel of the car sliding.
At VIR, a spin or off will generally result in contact in most turns, so I always find myself driving rather cautiously, with maybe a slide in T4 being about as loose as I feel comfortable.
Maybe it's time for the skidpad...

Thank You!!
Certainly Fun, I'm 680 RWHP, and 700 RWT, on slicks with the CC brakes, the CAR is pretty quick, I'm just the driver...
You're welcome, and yes, I guess the runoff does give me more comfort the a track like willow springs or Buttonwillow, I do hold back more on those track. Going off there is not pretty...
Thank you Sir!
My pleasure....

Good stuff! I was out at Fontanta Saturday for my first track day in my Z06. I see a bunch of places where you are doing stuff different from what I was doing and it really shows me where I can improve!
