Default New to me 2012 GS

Well, I’ve sold my first Vette (2002 silver vert) and bought a low mileage 2012 Grand Sport. I love this car! Got the coupe this time and couldn’t be happier. Rides like a dream! Learned a lot from this forum and still learning. I got the GS mainly for the looks, I just love the wide bodies. I know most will say it’s got a lot more than that, but for me it’s enough lol. Anyway, got this for my 64th birthday and the Mild to Wild kit came today too. Having fun in my old age!

Congrats Mr. 64 !! I'm 71 and bought my 2013 GS new and have enjoyed the hell out of it every time I climb in and start it up. I don't think age has anything to do with it !!

Well, since u asked (and be I love taking about it), it’s a 2LT with hud and Nav. Was looking for a 3lt but only so the wife could have her heated seats (in FL, I know!). It’s got everything I would want tho. Oh, and it only had 8350 miles! Don’t know how anyone can have such a nice car and not drive it lol. Not a scratch on her. And the dealership put 4 new Michelin run flats on it bc the GY tires had flat spots from sitting! Totally stock otherwise, but I am adding the Mild2Wild for the NPP exhaust, and bought a GM racing spoiler from a dealership in Illinois to install on it. So, if u can’t tell, I’m VERY excited to have and drive this Vette! Thanks all for the nice comments!

Welcome to the C6 club. Great looking GS. Looks like the mod bug already bit you with the M2W switch and spoiler.

Any other mods you plan on doing to it?

Do you plan just to cruise around in it, take trips, drag race, autocross, etc.?

Thanks for the welcome! Oh, I have a Harley also so mods are in my blood, lol. When I heard about the NPP exhaust I tried to make sure my next car would have it. The vert I sold had Magnaflow exhaust on it and it was a little drony and hard to talk over (ragtop did not help any either). I wanted a little rubble but able to turn it off and the NPP with M2W fits that exactly.

Not planning on a lot of mods, mostly cosmetic if anything. Car runs great, so not looking for more performance. But never say never, lol. I plan on driving it like I would a normal car, but kinda hard to haul grandkids around in it. I see some weekend drives and local cruises in my future. Just having fun! Just puts a smile on my face when I peek at it in the garage before going to bed, lol! Thanks for the C6 welcome everyone!
