Default Brake motive opinions

Thinking about new rotors and pads.
Curious peoples current opinions on something like brake motive D/S rotors and pad packages, or something else?
Looking to stay on the affordable side as far as price is concerned.
Thanks.

I've had these brake parts on my car for years. No problems and have been totally satisfied. I have the d/s rotors and their pads. Still look nice and shiny with no rust.

I have Brake Motive combo...rotor/pads on for a number of years. Good stopping, low dusting and still no rust and very shiny. On a daily driver.

Same experience here. There’s been a couple of similar posts where the same question was asked about Brake Motive and the vast majority of responses were positive.

I do not have their products on my car, but the comments I have seen posted have been very positive about them. If I ever need to replace my rotors/pads, they will be high on my list.

Another thumbs up, I have had these on my car for over 5 years and zero problems. Installed them on a friend's vette with zero issues.

I have had their black D/S rotors and pads installed for a couple months now and so far they have been working great with no problems. Brake dust is practically non-existent now and they look fantastic on the car. The only negative thing I could possibly say about them is that the initial bite doesn't seem as good as what I had previously (assuming stock pads) but that's probably just nit-picking. All in all I would definitely buy them again.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
I did a search but couldn't find the old posts and hadn't heard anything about them in a while.
Looks like I'll be ordering them soon.
Thx again.

I had a brake motive combo on mine as well. For the daily driver they can't be beat. Less dust, but not dust free. Initial brake bite was less than stock brakes.

I would not use them for track work. Daily driving yes.

I have had good success with mine. Do not use brake cleaner on them. It damages the coating. I have approximately 90k miles on them. (I drive a lot of highway.)

A few years ago there was a thread with hundreds of positive reviews.

Everything I heard has been positive for street. However, it racing, the rotors can have cracks start from the drilled holes.

I bought a set for mine. (haven't put them on yet)

So the actual performance of the brakes does not matter as much as the looks?

I understand your point and where it's coming from. I am very satisfied with the performance too. They have done a very good job at stopping.
