Default 07 Z06 Diff Fluid Question

Hi all, I recently tried ordering diff fluid and the diff cooler clip for my 07Z based on numbers from this thread:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-specific.html

The dealer told me that the I need the fluid and friction modifier and also mentioned that the clip PN did not cross reference to my vin number.

So my questions are:

1. Do I need the friction modifier with the fluid? The dealer said that they add the modifier with the fluid in their service department.

2. Should I ignore his advice and order the clip listed? Do all Z06 cars use the same cooler clip?

That oil doesn't require a friction modifier..

The part # for the clip is 24205103

If you PM me your address, I will mail you a clip. (Sold my Z)

I always got a spare, as they are easy to lose..

GM diff fluid is fine...friction modifier is already in it. I recommend Amsoil 75W-90 Severe Gear Lube, which also doesn't require the additive.

GM specifically says not to add more friction modifier to their OEM dif fluid.
