Can someone point me to a list of all the L engine/hp designations.. When people talk about Lthis and Lthat I have no clue what they are talking about...

They are talking about RPO codes. Google search GM RPO codes and you should be able to come up with a list. Or you can buy the Corvette Black Book

One more piece of information ... an engine block diagram that identified the location of the important engine numbers in order to identify an engine.

When I first developed The Lime Book (1st edition in 1991), the idea was that people would carry it around with them to junkyards, swap meets, etc. so they could identify engines on site.
If you are anything like me, you now carry a smart phone with you everywhere, and access the information via the web.
I figured this would make it easier.
Everyone enjoy.

So, why doesn't some smart kid post this book and the diagram in the C1 and C2 FAQ thread?
