Default Nurburgring update. New Car coming LG-#002

Hi Guys,

We have decided to build Chassis LG-#002 for the Nurburgring event.

The customer/owner of Chassis LG-#001 will be using it over the summer and it will be out of the US for roughly 2 months counting the boat trip over.
SO, we are getting a twin to that car and we will build the second chassis identical to the first one.

The good thing is that we will be able to do some more testing and fine tuning on some things. Our Aero package may get a couple of new small additions and we need to see how they affect it.

Stay tuned for Ring Chassis LG -#002

AND it will be for sale after we return from the Nurburgring event in October. AND if you buy it before we go, you can come to the ring as our guest!

thanks

Get a ring pro behind the wheel so it can definitely lay down the lap time. I can't wait to see PDR of this run.

Best looking C7 I've seen in a LAWNG time!!

How is your shop dog doing Lou? Anthony and Bobby still got a job with Team LG? Hahaha.

Can your rear wing be chasis mounted to lean forward more so the aft end of the wing endplates are in direct line with the aft end of the rear fascia? I know altering the lean or position may negate downforce but I am okay with that.

I agree, it is a really good looking C7 Z06. I was not sure about white at first but it looks great!

Shops doing great in our new First class 55,000 SF facility and we are almost ready to start building our race track on the adjoining 175 acres behind LG Motorsports. We have 2 new salesmen, Dane and Fernando who are doing a great job. The move was the hard part but that is behind us.

The wing is already in line with the end of the rear fascia. We did it the same location as the World Challenge rules, so the rear most part of the wing is exactly in line with the rear fascia.

We mounted it directly to the chassis to transfer 100% of the down force to the car.

TO reiterate, the rear of the wing is exactly lined up with the rear fascia already.

thanks

Lou Gigliotti

I still don’t understand why you can’t split the 30k with 10 other cars and start 5 minutes apart to save some $

Lou, have you ever had contact to Tomislav Bodrozic from TIKT Performance parts?
He's a local who knows both the Ring and Corvettes best. http://www.tikt.de
Give it a try if you think he can help you somehow.
Greetings from Switzerland

Just put a $100 down.... from a fellow small business man and aerospace engineer who busted his **** to make a living doing real engineering. If I can afford this donation at this time of my life (+60, crazy divorce, own just a Kia Forte hatchback, two Ducatis, OK one is a 1199 Panigale with full Termignoni and race ECU...had to sell my C6....imagine what all the big shots with the $20k motor builds and all the BS they spout on this forum can afford?. Do they not give a crap about the small business man attempting the impossible for their beloved Corvette platform?. Good luck Lou, no matter what the outcome, you have succeeded. Sorry for the rant, hope the best for you.

What brand and model are the decibel meters? A lot of decibel meters are more sensitive to a certain frequency range. If we knew what frequencies to avoid, maybe Lou could get some resonators designed specifically to muffle those frequencies while staying relatively free flowing. Muffler companies do it all the time to reduce drone resonance on specific car models.

Another option: Lou, could you maybe dump the exhaust under the car? Maybe aiming it into the pavement so that it bounces around under the car a couple of times before it gets to the meters might help muffle it? Especially if you pointed it away from the meters...

Third option: How do you feel about turbocharging? Swapping the supercharger out for turbos would quiet down the car.
